My Story

You might know me as an architect, or maybe you've come across my writing. But let me give you the unfiltered scoop - I started with architecture because, apparently, I’m supposed to know how to “build things.” Spoiler - I’m still figuring that out. But don’t worry, I’m a great with specific softwares and hand sketches—and turning your dream house into a 3D model… or at least attempting to.

As for writing? I started in school, with poetry (of course). But I wasn’t just any poet—I was the kind of poet who spent more time outside class than inside (okay, okay, I wasn’t that rebellious). But I’ll admit it: I was a better writer than speaker. You know, the kind of writer who spends their life in a daydream, scribbling down thoughts on the back of receipts. I’ve got the unfinished drafts to prove it.

Anyway, here I am—juggling architecture, writing, and the occasional existential crisis—crafting stories, sketches, and buildings that may or may not exist in this dimension. It’s a work in progress... but isn’t that what life is?

Oh!!! So you scrolled already!

You really want to know more right?

Look, I didn’t choose creativity. Creativity chose me. And then it threw me into a never-ending loop of sketching, writing, designing, startup-ing, overthinking, and forgetting where I kept my chai.

I was that kid who wasn’t outside playing cricket (I was the player of football and badminton —But, but, but...I was inside, surrounded by books (Mummy didn't allowed me to go and play - Obviously, the reason was - I didn't study). So, I read book, not just the fun ones. Panchatantra? Yes. Hindi novels? Of course. Encyclopedias? You bet. While other kids collected toys, I collected random facts. (Did you know octopuses have three hearts? Neither did I, until I read an entire book on marine life for fun).

Writing started because my brain wouldn’t shut up. If I didn’t write things down, they disappeared. Thoughts are like soap bubbles—beautiful but gone in seconds. So, I started capturing them. First in a diary, then on random scraps of paper, and eventually in full-blown poetry, plays, and song lyrics. Did I plan on becoming a writer? Nope. I just wanted to re-read my own mind before it forgot everything.

Social Media

Then came design. Architecture trained me to think about space, structure, and function. It also trained me to survive on 3 hours of sleep and question all my life choices. But turns out, design isn’t just about buildings. I started applying it to branding, storytelling, and digital experiences—basically, anything that could be designed better.

Somewhere along the way, startups entered the chat. Before the pandemic in 2019, I found myself helping founders make sense of their own ideas. I became a design and presentation consultant, translating their “Bro, we have this crazy idea” energy into actual structured pitches and brands. At the same time, I was working on my own startup—an ambitious dream that, like many great ideas, didn’t survive past 2021. (RIP, dear startup. You were loved).

But let’s rewind a bit—because in between all this, I also decided to pack a bag and travel like a nomad.

I hitchhiked across 16 states of India, lived on the road, met strangers who turned into stories, and documented everything through live sketches. Whether it was a chaiwala’s tired smile or a random street musician lost in his song—I sketched it. Over time, those sketches piled up. Today, I’ve drawn over 20,000+ live sketches and writings (though 80% of them were either stolen, destroyed, or mysteriously vanished). I also started sharing my experiences through public speaking at schools, colleges, and NGOs—because why just live stories when you can tell them too?

Now, here’s the plot twist.

For all my creativity, I have one major flaw—I never finish things. If there’s no deadline, I get excited, start something amazing, and then poof—onto the next shiny idea. 60% of my projects are half-done, floating in a creative limbo, abandoned somewhere between “This is genius” and “I’ll finish this later”. And even when I do finish something, it often gets lost in the abyss (or in someone else’s hands). So I get disciplined and start setting up deadlines to myself and started positive actions.

BOOM! 87% of client satisfaction on 100% of work completion! Not a easy task, for whom 60% of work get paused in midway.

But that’s the beauty of it all, isn’t it?

Creativity isn’t about perfect endings — it’s about the process, the mess, the chaotic joy of making something real. Whether I’m sketching, writing, designing, or dreaming up the next big thing, one thing stays constant—I love bringing ideas to life. Even if half of them disappear before the world sees them.

So, if you’re someone who believes in stories, art, design, or just the magic of creating—let’s connect. Because the best ideas, the best art, and the best journeys are never meant to be done alone.

The #desiblueprint

Experience the desi approach

How "DesiBlueprint" Was Born: A Tale of Overthinking, Chai, and Chaos

Naming things is hard. You know what's even harder? Naming something that represents everything you do when you do too many things.

I sketch. I write. I design. I create digital ecosystems. I do presentations. I make lyrics. I overthink my existence. So, when it was time to brand myself under a single name, my brain did what it does best—spiraled into existential confusion.

At first, I thought of something classy. Something international. Maybe a French or Latin-inspired name to sound extra intellectual? "Blueprinté?" No, too pretentious. "AleenDesigns?" Too boring. "The Overworked Creative Who Forgets to Eat?" Too accurate.

Then it hit me—why run from my roots? I’m Desi at heart. Whether it’s storytelling, design, architecture, or startups, my approach has always been a mix of structured thought (Blueprint) and pure Desi jugaad.

Blueprints aren’t just for buildings. They’re for ideas, art, strategies, and chaotic midnight realizations that somehow make sense in the morning. And so, in between sips of chai and several rejected names later, "DesiBlueprint" was born—my way of saying, “Yes, I do a lot. No, I can’t pick just one. And yes, I will find a way to make it all work.”
